My husband and I went to relax and that’s exactly what we did. Nigel is the perfect host, he told us all the best things to do and see. Nigel’s B n B is sparkling clean and you don’t need to take a thing, it’s already there at your disposal, even a freshly baked loaf of bread, fresh tomatoes, bacon, eggs etc. We went when it was 40*+ and air conditioning didn’t skip a beat. The outdoor area is gorgeous, complete with a BBQ that also has everything you need. We highly recommend Nigel’s Bed and Breakfast ⭐️

My wife and I stayed at Nigel's B & B in Hawker this October for two nights. We were visiting the Flinders Ranges on the way to Uluru and Alice Springs, so didn't want to stay further south. It turned out to be a great stay, Nigel was very welcoming, even baking us a loaf of bread! Hawker is a great base for the Flinders, and the local pub was great for dinner. The house on Arkaba St is handy to everything, was spotless, and has everything you could need. Highly recommend.

Nigel was a great host and has thought of everything. Inside and out was sparkling clean. The fridge was full of fresh food and choices. The kitchen was fully equiped. Wood was chopped and the fire was set. We loved our stay.

Some Details On The Home

Flinders Ranges Bed and Breakfast is a 2 bedroom home that has recently been fully refurbished.
We are very proud to have achieved the status of Airbnb SUPERHOST with a 5.0 Star Rating, 100% Response Rate, No Trips With Cancellations and Outstanding Hospitality. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/25922796  
We accept bookings for a single person for a single night and also provide attractive discounts for weekly and monthly reservations through Airbnb.
The tariff is $65.00 per night for the first guest and then $33.00 per night for all other guests up to a maximum of 7. Bookings can be lodged online via our Airbnb site.
The property has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom contains a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. We are also able to provide 2 x single and 1 Queen Euro bed  which allows us to accommodate up to 6, 7 or even 8 people. If you have a large number travelling, it is best to communicate in the first instance so that we can arrange everything perfectly for you. A Travel Cot is also on hand if needed.

The LAUNDRY features a Simpson Ezi-7kg washing machine and a 4 line Hill's retractable clothes line is installed in the rear yard. Pegs and all the necessary washing products are provided.

The KITCHEN is very well equipped with a wide range of cooking appliances. It is a very good idea to plan your travel shopping around what is available in the home.We have included several photos of what is contained in the kitchen to help you with the organizing of your trip. 

SHOPPING There are 2 very well stocked General Stores in Hawker which can also meet the vast majority of your holiday needs.There is also excellent souvenirs available.

The BEDROOMS both have good storage facilities in the form of wardrobes and bedside cupboards. The KITCHENETTE has a 6 seat dining table for those occasions when you decide to dine inside. Alternatively, you can use the lap tables in the lounge room or the tables which are provided in both the front and rear  yards.

The LOUNGE ROOM contains a 3 seat lounge as well as 2 very comfortable lounge chairs. A 50" Hi Sense Smart TV is provided along with a DVD player.
A KENT WOOD HEATER is on hand for the colder months and a back up wood supply is provided.
A powerful DAIKIN AIRCONDITIONER is installed which has the capacity to cool the entire home.
Variable speed CEILING FANS are also installed in all rooms.

The BATHROOM is very well appointed with a modern vanity and a new clear glass shower cubicle.

The GARDENS at both the front and rear of the property have been specifically designed with Australian Native Plants so that it will form a great attraction for the many native birds that live in Hawker.
A large SUNCO BARBECUE is set up in the back yard to allow you to enjoy a beautiful meal outside. There is also an outside power point and extension lead if you wish to cook with an electrical appliance outside. When dining outside, you not only get to appreciate the plants and bird life but in the evening you can observe the light pollution free skies.

A KEY ACCESS SAFE is installed to allow entry for guests who are arriving later in the evening. In all other instances we love to welcome our guests and give them a quick tour of the home. 

MOTION SENSOR lights activate when clients approach the property after dark to assist with their location of keys.

FILTERED RAINWATER is plumbed via 2 taps and this allows you to refill your water drinking bottles.

HARD WIRED INTERCONNECTED SMOKE DETECTORS are installed in the 3 main rooms and comply with the appropriate Australian Regulations.
